Snacks and Water Bottles

     Our class will have snack time daily.  This is a 10-15 minute time for students to re-energize their bodies with some fuel for their brains!  I am asking parents to send HEALTHY SNACKS that can be eaten quickly and without much mess.  Here are a few examples of some great snacks:  apples, grapes, bananas, or other fruits, carrot sticks, low-fat chips, crackers, cheese, raisins, dry cereal, pretzels, graham crackers, dried fruits, animal crackers, or fruit snacks.  You may send a snack for the morning and one for the afternoon.  The kids have spent all summer being able to grab a snack whenever they were hungry, so I want them to be focused on school and not their growling tummy.  :)  The kids may also bring a water bottle that has a lid to close with water ONLY.
